Kharkhiraa valley is one of the most untouched destinations in Mongolia.

It is located near the Ulaangom city of Uvs province.
The valley consists of Kharkhiraa river, glaciers, pine forest, Turgen and  Kharkhiraa mountiains. The peaks of Kharkhiraa and Turgen are  4037m and 3965m above sea level.

One of the Mongolian ethnic groups, Khoton people live in this valley. They are famous for their shaman practice.
