Shiliin Bogd is an inactive volcano located in Dariganga, Sukhbaatar province.

This volcano lies at 1778 meters above sea level, the highest peak in Sukhbaatar.

The mountain is considered as a sacred place for man.  Locals believe that the spirit of a man is revived when he sees the sun rise from the top of Shiliin Bogd. Women do not climb to this place as it is believed a spiritual mountain only for men.

You will see the famous statue of Toroi bandi, a well-respected man who would steal horses from the corrupted Manchurian rulers and hand  back to the poor nomad families.
