Mongolia is one of the few remaining countries that continue to keep the 6000-year-old tradition of eagle hunting. The spring eagle festival is organized annually in March in near Ulaanbaatar. This is a great opportunity to learn the culture of eagle hunters and the Kazakh tribe as many western Mongolians come to participate in the event.
